IMPLEMENTATION

On May 16, 2022, the first transnational meeting of the project was held in Valencia, with Redtree Making projects being the host organization. At this meeting, the following topics were worked on:

  1. Reading and adoption of the agenda.

  2. Introduction of participants and participating organizations.

  3. Presentación y seguimiento del proyecto “SEEING THE INVISIBLE: Inclusive digitalization of low vision students in school education”.

  4. Presentation and progress made in the intellectual results of the project:

       O1 – SEEING THE INVISIBLE: EDUCATIONAL APPLICATION FOR THE INCLUSIVE DIGITIZATION OF THE CLASSROOM THROUGH THE SMARTPHONE.

      O2 – VIRTUAL TRAINING COURSE FOR TEACHERS: INCLUSIVE DIGITIZATION IN SCHOOL EDUCATION

      O3 – OERs ADAPTED TO STUDENTS WITH LOW VISION

  5. Review and confirm the project schedule: upcoming meetings, activities, pilot tests, dissemination-visibility and project tasks to be carried out.

  6. Evaluation.

  7. Open speaking time.

  8. Reading and approval of the minutes of the meeting.

The meeting began with the approval of the agenda and the presentation of the people and organizations participating in the meeting, this meeting was attended by all the partner organizations of the project either in person or online.

Next, we moved on to the presentation and monitoring of the project, with the preparation phase already completed and the implementation phase recently started. All activities to date were monitored.

Subsequently, the meeting focused on the intellectual outputs of the project, finishing defining some outstanding aspects and explaining the progress made to date by each of the partner organizations.

On the next item on the agenda, the discussion focused on finalizing the timetable for the project and the pending activities, as well as a review of the functions to be performed by each participating organization.

Finally, an on-site evaluation was carried out, the open speaking time and the reading and approval of the minutes of the meeting.

The second transnational meeting of the project was held on 17 November 2022 in Oslo, Norway. The host organization of this meeting was Aniridi Norge. The main topics discussed were:

1. Reading and adoption of the agenda.
2. Introduction of participants and participating organizations.

4. Presentation and progress made in the intellectual results of the project.

This second transnational meeting focused on the development of the intellectual results of the project. The functionalities and some technical aspects of the SEEING THE INVISIBLE (O1) Educational Application were finalized. The contents were specified  and the final index of the course for teachers INCLUDING DIGITIZATION IN SCHOOL EDUCATION (O2) was approved, making proposals for improvement  by the participating organizations and presented, debated and made proposals for improvement of the different applications that will be part of the OER adapted to students with low vision (O3).

In addition, this meeting also monitored the activities carried out since the previous transnational meeting, as well as reviewed the pending activities carried out by each of the partner organizations.

The meeting ended with an on-site evaluation, the open speaking time and the approval of the minutes.

Once the meeting was over, the participants were able to enjoy a walk through the center of Oslo, a visit to the Christmas market and a dinner all together.

The third transnational meeting of the project was held on 10th February, 2023 in Florence (Italy) at the facilities of Smallcodes. The main topics discussed were:

1.    Reading and approval of the meeting agenda.

2.    Current situation of the “SEEING THE INVISIBLE: Inclusive Digitalization of Low Vision Students in School Education” project.

3.    Presentation and progress made in the intellectual output of the project O1. SEEING THE INVISIBLE: EDUCATIONAL APPLICATION FOR THE INCLUSIVE DIGITIZATION OF THE CLASSROOM THROUGH THE SMARTPHONE (by Smallcodes).

4.    Presentation and progress made in the intellectual results of the project O2. VIRTUAL TRAINING COURSE FOR TEACHERS: INCLUSIVE DIGITIZATION IN SCHOOL EDUCATION. (By RedTree).

5.    Presentation and progress made in the intellectual results of the project O3. OERs ADAPTED TO STUDENTS WITH LOW VISION (By Alba).

6.    Reviewing and confirmation of the project’s schedule: upcoming meetings, activities, pilot tests, dissemination-visibility, and project tasks to be carried out.

The third transnational meeting focused on the development of the intellectual results of the project. On the one hand, Smallcodes presented the advance in the programming and development of the O1 intellectual result. On the other hand, RedTree presented the work done to date of the intellectual result O2 and Alba presented the OER’s developed to date.

During the meeting, relevant aspects for the improvement and development of each of the intellectual results were discussed, with the aim that they are adapted and really useful for the beneficiaries of the same.

In addition, this meeting also monitored the activities carried out since the previous transnational meeting, as well as reviewed the pending activities carried out by each of the partner organizations.

The meeting ended with an on-site evaluation, the open speaking time and the approval of the minutes.

The fourth transnational meeting of the project was held on 20th October, 2023 in Valencia (Spain) at the facilities of Redtree Making Projects. The main topics discussed were:

1.     Reading and approval of the meeting agenda

2.     Current situation of the “SEEING THE INVISIBLE: Inclusive Digitalization of Low Vision Students in School Education” project.

3.     Final presentation of the intellectual output of the project O1. SEEING THE INVISIBLE: EDUCATIONAL APPLICATION FOR THE INCLUSIVE DIGITIZATION OF THE CLASSROOM THROUGH THE SMARTPHONE (by Smallcodes).

4.     Final presentation of the intellectual results of the project O2. VIRTUAL TRAINING COURSE FOR TEACHERS: INCLUSIVE DIGITIZATION IN SCHOOL EDUCATION. (By RedTree).

5.     Final presentation of the intellectual results of the project O3. OERs ADAPTED TO STUDENTS WITH LOW VISION (By Alba).

6.     Pilot tests.

The fourth transnational meeting focused on the final presentation of the intellectual outputs of the project.

On the one hand, Smallcodes presented the app «Seeing the invisible» (O1). He showed the participants all the tools that the app has for teachers of students with low vision.

On the other hand, RedTree presented the Teacher Course (O2) implemented in the Virtual Inclusive Education e-learning platform.

Finally, Alba presented all the OERs that had been carried out (43 in total), as well as all the advantages they have for teachers and students with low vision.

During the meeting, all the improvements that we are going to make in the results after carrying out the pilot tests (making the O1 and O2 results in more languages to achieve a greater impact…) were discussed.

In addition, this meeting also monitored the activities carried out since the previous transnational meeting, as well as reviewed the pending activities carried out by each of the partner organizations.
